Michelle Peres is a dedicated advocate for autism awareness and education, currently serving on the board of Star Foundation. With a robust background in medical education as partial owner of the University of Medicine and Health Sciences (UMHS), a Caribbean medical school, Michelle has a deep commitment to advancing healthcare initiatives.

As the former Vice President of Enrollment Management and current Vice President of Alumni Affairs, Michelle has played a pivotal role in shaping the educational landscape for future healthcare professionals. She was instrumental in helping to establish the Autism Center in St. Kitts alongside Dr. Sheryl Rosin, recognizing the pressing need for autism services on the island. Through initiatives such as community screenings on the medical school campus and educational sessions for local teachers, Michelle and Dr. Rosin have worked tirelessly to enhance understanding and support for individuals with autism.

With a passion for fostering inclusive environments, Michelle aims to assist Dr. Rosin to promote advocacy, education, and resources for families affected by autism in the community.
